To reduce the amount of plastic resin needed to make each cap, Kutsuwa mixes in eggshells (a naturally-occurring and environmentally friendly material, eggshells are made primarily from calcium carbonate) to reinforce the structure and offer textural contrast.

Each package contains six caps in three soft colors: beige, green, and sky blue. Fits most pencils.
